Jennifer Jönsson

Jennifer is a recipient of the Under 35 Changemaker Award 2022 by PMI Sweden for her inspiring contribution to project management in a digital environment.

31 years old, Digital Project Leader at IKEA Ingka Group

Jennifer is a genuine people person with a drive to deliver value in a collaborative environment. With a creative mindset, she enjoys bringing new perspectives into play and she has been recognized for her communicative skills, to align expectations in a proper manner, and to motivate people while ensuring progress in complex environments. Her collaborative approach together with a clear vision and focus on the targets ensures efficient deliveries.

Jennifer started her career in Los Angeles at the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce. Upon her arrival back to Sweden, she joined EY as a Management Consultant, where she specialized in the Consumer Products and Retail sector. After about two years she decided to explore the start-up world, working with sales and e-commerce, within the consumer products and tech industry. In early 2021, she joined IKEA Ingka Group and the Digital Project Office as a Digital Project Leader with the ambition to contribute to IKEA taking the next step into the future of retail and digitalization.

Within the Digital Project Office, Jennifer belongs to the Customer team, which perfectly aligns with her passion for the customer and the commercial aspects of the business. Up until now, she has been involved in projects connected to selling and financial services. In selling she has been supporting the development of a new global selling tool to be used by all co-workers across the stores and in remote channels. At the moment, she is part of helping IKEA to become more affordable to the many people by leading the digital execution and deployment of new financing solutions across the markets.

Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics from Lund University, with a major in corporate finance and business strategy. She has also studied Entrepreneurship at Babson College, US.
